Bollywood's Dabaang Salman Khan is all set to launch veteran actress Asha Parekh's biography 'The Hit Girl' on Monday at a suburban hotel in Mumbai on Momday.
Speaking about her biography, the 74-year-old actress: "This is something I wanted to do, but hadn't gotten down to doing for a very long time. My good friend and journalist Khalid Mohammed, whom I've known for years, helped me to do it. I hope the book is liked."
Asha Parekh's shares a very close connection with the Khan family as she was said to be Salman Khan's step mother Helen's friend.
Asha Parekh's girl squad included actresses Helen, Waheeda Rehman, Nanda and Sadhana. Speaking about her set of friends with whom she has special memories, she told: "Now Sadhana and Nanda are gone. It's just Helen, Waheeda, Shammi Aunty and me."

Asha Parekh's has given hits like Bharosa (1963), Do Badan (1966), Teesri Manzil (1966), Baharon Ke Sapne (1967), Kati Patang (1970), Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki (1978), Bin Phere Hum Tere(1979) and many more.
Asha Parekh was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1992.
Asha Parekh did three films with Rajesh Khanna -- Baharon Ke Sapne (1967), Aan Milo Sajna and Kati Patang. Also, she bagged the Best Actress award for Kati Patang.
Moreover, Salman Khan starrer Kabir Khan's forthcoming movie 'Tubelight' is creating a buzz as it is the comeback of Kabir-Salman Jodi after they drooled people over their 'Bajrangi Bhaijan' magic.
