New Delhi:
Anurag Kashyap’s latest release Bombay Velvet has managed to fetch mere 22.27 after one week of its release on Indian box office, which is slightly greater than Besharam’s opening day collection.
The film, which was made on a whopping budget of Rs 84 crores (excluding post-production cost), turned out to be a flop after critics showed thumbs down to the film.
Famous film critic Taran Adarsh took the comparison to the social networking site Twitter.
#BombayVelvet *7-day* total [₹ 22.27 cr] is slightly more than *Day 1* biz of super-flop #Besharam [₹ 21.56 cr]. #BV = EPIC DISASTER!

Lead actor Ranbir Kapoor is facing the heat as this movie turns out to be his third continuous flop on Box office, earlier he had delivered Roy and Besharam.
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen next in upcoming movies Tamasha by Imtiaz Ali and Jagga Jasoos by Anurag Basu. Hope these films turns thing positive for him.
