After the Congress Working Committee decision to continue Sonia Gandhi as interim chief of Congress party, several leaders of Congress don't look okay with the decision. Congress Party is struggling hard to keep the cadres intact across the nation.

A major rift has emerged in Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee.The source has confirmed that a letter has been sent to the Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi to remove UT Party President G A Mir. Sources say that a letter was sent few weeks earlier by Senior Congress Leader and Vice President of the party G N Monga to the Congress Party chief to remove G A Mir from the post.

The letter is said to be sent with signatures of eight to ten Congress leaders citing incumbency as the main reason for the removal of G. A. Mir. Sources also confirm that this was not the first letter which has been sent to the party chief. Around two to three letters have been sent to party chief requesting to remove UT Party President G A Mir by senior leaders in the last two months.

On the condition of anonymity, a congress leader said that Mir is not working on the ground level. However, other leaders are working hard to keep the party intact. He said that this is the ripe time that congress party chief should step in and remove the unit president to keep the party alive in valley. Several leaders have threatened to say good bye to congress if party state chief is not removed immediately.
