The Indian Bank Association has uged people to do all the necessary transaction on Friday in view of the three-day bank holiday beginning from March 11.

Holi 2017: Banks to remain closed from March 11 to 13 amid festival of colors

All banks will remain closed for 3 days from March 11 (Saturday till Holi which falls on March 13 (Monday). Customers will not be able to make any business transaction. 

The Indian Bank Association has uged people to do all the necessary transaction on Friday in view of the three-day bank holiday beginning from March 11. 

Bank holiday could deepen cash crisis with long ques at ATMs, where people might be seen struggling to withdraw money especially during the time of the festival.

Banks are closed on second and fourth Saturdays every month. Hence, 3 continuous offs for bank employees in several states.

However, Banks are trying to ensure that ATMs remain operational during these days so that people don't have any cash crunch.
