New Delhi:
VHP has said that it will stick to its decision of carrying out the 'Sankalp Yatra’ on Friday even as The Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh has denied permission for the same.
The Uttar Pradesh government banned VHP's proposed 'Sankalp Diwas' stir to press for a parliamentary legislation on building Ram Temple, fearing a communal flare-up.
The decision was taken in view of security concerns, especially after the recent communal violence in Muzaffarnagar and surrounding areas. The decision to ban 'Sankalp Diwas' was taken especially in view of the recommendations of Faizabad district administration.
