BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari attacked Kejriwal saying, that it is a point of concern if the Tukde-Tukde gang supporter Chief Minister is getting backing from Pakistan. Tiwari also asked the AAP, if the party was trying to win Delhi Polls with support from Pakistan.
Arvind Kejriwal replied to Hussain saying that, "Narendra Modi Ji is India's Prime Minister. He is also my Prime Minister. Delhi elections are an internal matter for India and we will not tolerate interference of the biggest organiser of terrorism in this."
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister on Wednesday had said that he had to face a lot of difficulties after joining politics, yet he sacrificed everything for the people of the national capital and in return the BJP has called him a "terrorist". "It hurts a lot," the Delhi chief minister wrote on Twitter sharing a news report that Delhi BJP MP Parvesh Verma had allegedly called him a terrorist. "Gave up everything for the people of Delhi. After joining politics, I faced many difficulties so that the life of the people could improve. Today in return, the Bharatiya Janata Party is calling me a terrorist ...," he said.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India has ordered removal of Parvesh Verma from the list of star campaigners of BJP for Delhi Assembly elections. Verma had sparked a massive controversy with his provocative remark against the protesters of Shaheen Bagh area. Talking to news agency ANI, the West Delhi MP issued a warning saying that if not checked, the protesters will rape and kill daughters of residents of Delhi.
"…Lakhs of people gather there (Shaheen Bagh). People of Delhi will have to think and take a decision. They will enter your houses, rape your sisters and daughters, kill them. There's time today, Modi ji and Amit Shah won't come to save you tomorrow...," Verma was quoted as saying.
The Election Commission also issued a notice to Parvesh Verma for prima facie violating Model Code of Conduct (MCC). He has been given till 12 noon on 30th January to provide an explanation, failing which EC will take a decision on the matter.
