IIT GATE 2020: New paper for Biomedical Engineering introduced in February exams
This Year, The Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT), Delhi Will Conduct The Examination On February 1, 2, 8 And 9
Graduate Aptitude Test 2020 will have a new paper for candidates opting for Biomedical Engineering.
The new paper with the extended syllabus is expected to unify undergraduate syllabus of Biomedical Engineering among several universities, and to help stimulating the growth of research and product development in India, said a statement from IIT Madras which conducted GATE last year.
This year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi will conduct the examination on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020. The applications for the same will begin from September 3 at the official website, gate.iitd.ac.in. The online application process will be closed on September 24, 2019.
IIT Delhi, which is exam convener for Delhi Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2020, will conduct the exams during the first two weekends of February in 2020. Other important dates like result declaration, admit card release, and others are available on the official website.
The institute has also announced application fee structure for GATE 2020 which will be conducted for 25 subjects.
The GATE examination would be purely a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted at several centres in different cities across India, as well as, in six cities outside India.
The GATE 2020 score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results. It is used to take admissions to MTech at IITs, IISc and other universities.
