NEET 2020: National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Postponed Due To Coronavirus Outbreak
The National Testing Agency Has Postponed The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test - UnderGraduate (NEET UG) 2020 Examination In View Of The Ongoing Coronavirus Epidemic.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - UnderGraduate (NEET UG) 2020 examination in view of the ongoing coronavirus epidemic. The HRD Ministry's National Testing Agency (NTA) took the decision in view of the three-week lockdown as well as pending board exams for a few subjects, a senior official told PTI.
"In view of the hardships faced by the parents and the students due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the National Testing Agency has postponed the ensuring NEET (UG) May 2020 examination scheduled to held on the 3rd May 2020," said the press release.
The NEET UG 2020 is expected to take place in the last week of May now. The exact date will be announced later. According to the press release "as of now the examination is proposed to be held in the last week of May 2020. Exact date will be announced later on after assessing the situation."
NTA also did not to release NEET UG admit card which was to be issued on March 27, 2020.
