The All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS entrance test results have been announced for AIIMS courses at New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur on the official website of AIIMS exams, aiimsexams.org. Nishita Purohit (18) of Surat (Gujrat), studying in Kota-based Allen Career Institute of Kota is the all India topper.
The all India topper and national level basketball player has secured 91.4% marks in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 board this year.
Candidates can check their results on the website www.aiimsexams.org and also on the websites of other six AIIMS. Click on results and then on the link for MBBS exam 2017 result.
The entrance examination for the MBBS course was conducted on May 28 at various centres across the country and around 2.8 lakh students appeared in it.
On May 31, Anand Rai, who exposed the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh, had alleged that the question papers of this year's entrance exam for MBBS course of the AIIMS were leaked following which the institute had constituted the committee to probe how snapshots of the test came out in public.
