The Railway Recruitment Board is all set to declare the result of the Group D exams today. As per the official notification, the results will be declared around 3 pm. This year, the exams were held between September and December and around 1.8 crore candidates appeared for the same.
The candidates can check the score on the regional RRB sites - rrbmumbai.gov.in, rrbajmer.gov.in, rrbkolkata.gov.in.
The RRB Group D 2018 results will be announced in two parts – merit list and scorecard. The names of candidates who have qualified for RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET) round will be mentioned in the merit list, while the scorecard will be available for all the candidates who appeared for the exam.
RRB Group D PET exam will begin in second week of March 2019. In the PET examinations, candidates will have to perform various physical tasks such as running and lifting the weight. The female candidates will have to carry to carry 20 kg for 100 meters also in 2 minutes, while the male candidates are required to carry 35 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes.
In the running, male candidates will have to cover the distance of 1 km in 4 minutes and 15 seconds while the female candidates will have to cover the same distance in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
Those who will qualify in PET test will be called for the final round which involves document verification. Once the candidates clear the document verification round, they will be given the joining letters.
