CBSE Announces Storytelling Competition For classes 3 to 12 - Check Date, Time And Other Details
The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) Has Announced Its First-ever Storytelling Competition For Classes 3 To 12 Students.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced its first-ever storytelling competition for classes 3 to 12 students. The competition will be held at school, regional, and national level. The board has issued detailed guidelines and topics for storytelling. The students will be grouped in four categories - Primary (class 3 to 5), Middle (class 6 to 8), Secondary (class 9 to 10), and Senior Secondary (class 11 to 12).
The students will be given topics from all cores subjects. Topics like 'What did the Subject tell the Verb' for Class 3 to 'The Green Miracle' from EVMS syllabus of Class 4 to asking Class 8 students to narrate Rational Numbers in 'The Day I Lost my Calculation Skils’ all call out to the ingenuity of the exercise. The school-level storytelling competition will be held by schools between November 18 and November 23. The best 4 entries would be uploaded to the CBSE portal using the app. Schools are required to upload the entries between November 24 to November 30.
How to register online?
Step 1: Visit the CBSE website – cbse.nic.in
Step 2: School will enter its Affiliation No. as User Name and LOC/Registration Password as Password
Step 3: School will enter the selected/shortlisted candidate’s personal details for registration after that click on 'Submit' button to save. Maximum 4 candidates can be entered (one from each category).
Step 4: School can enter candidate’s details one by one.
Step 5: After entering details school can proceed for payment using 'Make Payment' option
Step 6: Once payment is successfully made, school can generate final list having registration numbers of the candidates shortlisted.
The next level of the competition i.e. the regional level competition would be digital and regional level entry winners would then move on to the national level competition. The National Level Competition would be conducted live in Delhi/ NCR on 19th - 20th December, 2019. CBSE would notify the topics for the final at the time of the declaration of the regional results.
