Maharashtra National Law University To Begin A Course In 'Nyaya Sashtra'
The Maharashtra National Law University is known for its quality law courses. The university has the history of producing highly talented Law graduates. As of now, the university is doing round in the news for the proposal of a new course that it received. According to the official report, the university has got a proposal to start a new course in 'Nyaya Shastra' in MNLU. The proposal to start the course was received recently and the same has been informed by the Chancellor of the university.
Interestingly, Justice Sharad Bobde is the chancellor of the university and also a judge in the apex court of the country. The chancellor of the university let everybody know about the proposal that came before him to launch a course in Nyaya Sashtra in MNLU. He said that the Nyaya Sashtra course will soon start in the university. He also said that that the course will be started with the Sanskrit University and will be for the lawyers as well as students.
The Chancellor also laid strong emphasis at the idea of establishing a judicial academy while speaking at the ceremony organized for the proposed permanent MNLU campus. The academy will be similar to that of National Defence Academy. The objective of setting up the academy is to produce quality judges.
