For those living under the rock, comedian Atul Khatri, in the wake of CAA has been very vocal against the passing of the Bill on social media. After the passing of the Bill, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday retweeted a video clip of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and asked people to hear his explanation on the issue.
"Do hear this lucid explanation of aspects relating to CAA and more by SadhguruJV."
"He provides historical context, brilliantly highlights our culture of brotherhood. He also calls out the misinformation by vested interest groups. #IndiaSupportsCAA’’ PM Modi Tweeted.
Modi’s tweet of Sadhguru explaining the Citizenship Amendment Act providing ‘historical context’ was trolled by the comedian who tweeted back
"Hey Sadhguru! Stick to religion. Why you getting into politics?? Oh wait.."
Khatri’s tweet caught the attention of Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel who questioned the comedian tweeting back, "The journey of CAB to CAA can be called politics bt CAA itself isn’t politics it’s an act which is being implemented in this nation, jab tere jaisa chillar can have opinion about it y not a great thinker & wiseman he too holds Indian passport who are you to ask him not to speak?"
Not ready to back out from the Twitter battle, Atul replied to Rangoli, "Chup na Didi.."
Just weeks ago, Atul also took a jibe at the CAA by lashing out on Disha Patani’s bikini pic commenting that her steamy Calvin Klien’s inner wear photoshoot was, “BJP Govt's ploy to divert youth attention from CAB + NRC”.
