Laal Singh Chaddha Happens To Be The Bollywood Remake Of Hollywood Classic Forrest Gump
Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha is stirring a storm at the tinsel town, thanks to his much talked about turban look for the film and now in between scenes Aamir visited a gurudwara in Punjab’s Ropar district, pictures of which are getting viral on internet.
The movie happens to be the Bollywood remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump and the teaser, first look reveal of the film has Aamir fans already made anxious for its release. And while Aamir is busy shooting for this much anticipated project, he recently made a visit to Guru Bhatta Sahib in Punjab’s Ropar district to seek blessings for the roke. Dressed in an off-white shirt, Aamir was seen in his Laal Singh Chaddha look with a heavy beard. The superstar was also honoured with a siropa (an honourary piece of cloth) by the Gurudwara management there.
This is the first time that Aamir will be seen in a turbaned look on the big screen. The Dangal star reported has lost 20 kgs for his lean look as Laal Singh Chaddha in the film. Apart from Aamir, Laal Singh Chaddha will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in the lead role. Interestingly, the movie will mark Aamir and Kareena’s third collaboration after 3 Idiots and Talaash.
Directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, and written by Atul Kulkarni, the film will release on Christmas 2020.
