Raj Kapoor's wife Krishna Raj Kapoor passes away at 87; Anil Kapoor reaches Chembur residence

Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of legendary actor late Raj Kapoor, breathed her last on Monday morning at the age of 87 in Mumbai. Krishna's son and legendary actor Randhir Kapoor, told PTI, “My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest... old age was another factor. B-town actor Anil Kapoor has already reached the residence of late Raj Kapoor in Chembur. Krishna Kapoor's last rites will be performed at the Chembur crematorium.

Raj Kapoor married Krishna Malhotra in 1946 and they had five children together - actors Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor and daughters Rima Jain and Ritu Nana. 

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Krishna's granddaughter and the sister of Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor posted a picture Krishna Raj Kapoor from her family vacation in Paris and wrote: "I love you... I will always love you - RIP dadi."

Riddhima also posted another picture with her grandmother on Instagram.
