Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who created ripples at the box office with his last release Padmaavat is hogging the limelight these days.

The Baajrao Mastani actor impressed everyone with his stupendous portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. The Lootera actor is currently busy with the shooting of the much-awaited Gully Boy.

Ranveer Singh has always set the stage on fire with his electrifying performances on various award functions. The quirky actor is now all geared up to perform at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League 2018, as per media reports.

Interestingly, the Band Baaja Baraat actor is said to be paid a whopping amount of Rs 5 crore for his 15-minute performance in IPL’s eleventh edition, as per a report in Hindustan Times.

''He will be shaking a leg for about 15 minutes, but the organising team was always clear that they wanted Ranveer as a performer and that’s why he has been offered such a huge amount’’, a source told Hindustan Times.

Ranveer Singh is known for his amazing energy, enthusiasm and the ability to take over the stage. We are sure he will leave the fans at the stadium awestruck with performance.

The Dil Dhadakne Do actor who will play the role of a street rapper in Gully Boy, recently shared a picture with Naved Shaikh, a popular rapper in his own right.

Interestingly, Ranveer Singh will collaborate with Alia Bhatt for the first time in his career in the said film. The Zoya Akhtar directorial will hit the silver screens on February 14, 2019.
