Sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra suspended from party; Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says 'truth shall prevail'
On Sunday, Mishra Had Said That He Had Seen Kejriwal Accepting Rs Two Crore From Satyendar Jain.
Aam Aadmi Party on Monday suspended former Delhi water minister Kapil Mishra from the party after the latter levelled stunning graft charges against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain. A decision was taken in this regard during the PAC meeting. Later, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote on social media, saying that turth shall prevail. He said a special session of Delhi Assembly has been convened on Tuesday.
On Sunday, Mishra had said that he had seen Kejriwal accepting Rs two crore from Satyendar Jain. He had also charged Kejriwal, saying that Jain had “settled” a land deal worth Rs 50 crore for Kejriwal’s relatives.
Earlier, Mishra dared the AAP convener to expel him from the party. He said would lodge an FIR against Kejriwal with the CBI on Tuesday at 11:30 pm.
While addressing a press conference, Mishra said that AAP leaders were saying that he was colluding with the BJP. He said these charges are baseless and he as th eonly leader who was more vocal and critic of saffron party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mishra, submitted documents to theAnti-Corruption Branch (ACB) against Kejriwal in connection with the alleged water tanker scam, said he has sought an appointment with the CBI to register a complaint.
Addressing a press conference here, Mishra asserted hewill never leave the AAP, but said he will also never join theBJP in his life. He also claimed that since he has made accusationsagainst Kejriwal, he has been receiving death threats fromthose who are close to the chief minister.
On the other hand, senior AAP leader Satyendar Jain hit back at Kapil Mishra, saying "no deal took place"between him and party chief Arvind Kejriwal and the sackedminister was "lying" after "losing his mental balance".
Jain also is likely to file a defamation case againstMishra, a senior official close to the minister said. "From yesterday, I am seeing, how much will Kapilji lie? There is limit to it.
He is levelling all kinds ofallegations... On Friday (May 5) I wasn't even present withthe CM , so how can there be a talk of the deal. There islimit to foolishness," the health minister said.
