Amit Shah arrives in Mumbai, to attend special screening of 'Chalo Jeete Hain'
BJP chief Amit Shah on Saturday arrived on a day-long visit during which he will hold an interactive session will party workers and also attend the special screening of ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’, a film based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s early life.
Reportedly, Shah’s visit comes due to the fact that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called all-party leaders meeting on the issue of Maratha reservation.
However, it is not clear whether Shah will hold talks with senior leaders over the heated issue.
A BJP leader said that Shah’s visit to the city was pre-planned and had nothing to do with the Maratha quota stir.
Shah is scheduled to watch the film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’ at a south Mumbai multiplex, where a special screening has been kept.
“There is a special screening of the film on PM Narendra Modi’s early life. It has been organised for Amit bhai in the evening,” the leader said.
The 32-minute film, directed by Mangesh Hadawale and presented by Aanand L Rai and Mahaveer Jain, will have its world premiere on Hotstar on 29 July.
The film is based on the early life of Narendra Modi and shows how he got inspired by Swami Vivekananda as he got exhibited towards the poor while growing up in Vadnagar in Gujarat.
