Army Major Rahul Singh succumbs to chest pain in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district
All Ranks Of The Chinar Corps Commander Has Saluted The Supreme Sacrifice Of Singh In Line Of Duty And Offered Condolences To His Bereaved Family.
An army officer, identified as Major Rahul Singh of Rashtriya Rifles, on Tuesday succumbed to the acute chest pain while undergoing medical treatment in a nearby hospital. As per the media reports, Singh, who was deployed along the Line of Control (LoC), complained of severe chest pain during patrolling in Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Speaking to news agency PTI, an army official said, "Maj Rahul Singh of Rashtriya Rifles, deployed along Line of Control, succumbed to the acute chest pain while undergoing medical treatment".
"The officer had complained of severe chest pain during patrolling along the LoC in Machil Sector in Kupwara district in the afternoo," he added.
All ranks of the Chinar Corps Commander has saluted the supreme sacrifice of Singh in line of duty and offered condolences to his bereaved family.
