Three Bengaluru boys were crushed to death by a moving train while they were busy taking a selfie on Tuesday morning. The incident was reported from Bidadi which is 30 km away from the Karnataka capital.
The police informed that the boys were completely unknown from the fact that train was approaching them while they took selfie.
The impact of train was such that the bodies of boys were difficult to recognise after the accident.
This is not first of a kind case where obsession with selfie has resulted in fatal accident.
Last week, Bengaluru teenager drowned at a pond in Karnataka’s Ravagondlu Betta, around 40 kilometers from the state capital, while his friends were busy clicking selfie.
The deceased was identified as Vishwas G, a student of National College in Jayanagar.
Police said that the deceased, a resident of Hanumantha Nagar along with 25 other fellow NCC cadets were picnicking with his friends in Ravagondhu Betta in Karnataka’s Kanakpura district. Vishwas drowned in the 300-year-old Kalyana, a stepped pond, when he along with his friends entered the water in afternoon.
