Bihar: RJD demands Nitish, Sushil Modi's resignation, stages protest outside Assembly
With Holding Placards, The Legislators, Including Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, Shouted Slogans Against The Government.
RJD legislators on Monday staged protest against Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar deputy chief minister Sushil Modi outside state assembly and demanded their resignation. They alleged Nitish and Sushil Modi's involvement in Bhagalpur Srijan scam.
With holding placards, the legislators, including former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi, shouted slogans against the government.
While talking to reporters , Rabri Devi said, "How could a fair probe possible without resignation of Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi?"
Earlier in the day, one of the arrested accused in Srijan scam, Mahesh Mandal, succumbed to cancer in a hospital. The doctors informed that his kidneys were damaged.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav wrote on Twitter that the deceased, Mahesh Mandal, was father of a rich leader of Janata Dal (United).
