Madan Lal Saini's Humayun to Babur statement leave Twitteratis in split, Check hilarious reactions
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajasthan president Madan Lal Saini on Wednesday stated that Mughal ruler Humayun told Babur that to rule in India, he must respect cows, Brahmins, and women.
Saini’s statement, which was historically shambolic, quickly became a laughing stock.
“When Humayun was dying, he called Babur and told him, “If you want to rule Hindustan, you must keep three things in mind- respect cows, brahmins & women,†Saini said on Tuesday, as per news agency ANI.
As per historical facts, Babur died in 1531, while Humayun died in 1556.
The BJP is already facing a backlash over the lynching of Rakbar Khan in Alwar district of Rajasthan and Saini’s statement has not helped them a bit.
Soon after his statement, Twitter witnessed a history lesson meltdown.
Here are some of the best reaction:
A former MLA and RSS volunteer, Saini was elected as the BJP Rajasthan’s president in June.
