National Car Racer Ashwin Sundar And Wife Nivedhitha Were Charred To Death After Their BMW Car Rammed A Roadside Tree On The Santhome High Road In Chennai In The Wee Hours Of Saturday.
National car racer Ashwin Sundar and wife Nivedhitha were charred to death after their BMW car rammed a roadside tree on the Santhome High Road in Chennai in the wee hours of Saturday.
Soon after the car hit tree it got stuck between a wall and the tree due to which the couple could not open the doors leading to their death.
A Passer-by who saw the vehicle on fire reported the police immediately immediately. Sooner, fire and rescue services were rushed to the spot. It took about half-an-hour to douse the fire completely.
Sundar was driving the car, the couple were returning home from a friend’s house reportedly. At first police couldn’t identify the bodies but later they identified them with the help of vehicle registration number. Bodies have been sent to government hospital for post-mortem.
