NEET 2017 UG Exam to be held in 8 languages, qualifiers eligible for all India quota
In A Relief To The Medical Examination Aspirants, The Central Government Has Allowed The Candidates To Take The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) For Post Graduate And Under Graduate In Eight Languages — Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil And Telugu. Forms Are Likely To Be Released In The Third Week Of December.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2017 will be held in eight languages, informed Jagat Prakash Nadda - Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, via Twitter on Monday. In a huge relief to medical aspirants for 2017 batch, the single window medical entrance exam will allow candidates to choose their language medium between Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu and Tamil. The minister were informed that the candidates qualifying NEET would be eligible for all-India quota and other quotas under the state govts/institutes.NEET has replaced AIPMT this year and has been made mandatory for admissions in all-India medical/ dental colleges. Therefore, no other state can conduct its separate medical entrance."Single window exam for UG for candidate convenience and country wide uniformity," Nadda said in tweet. While the CBSE has already released the JEE Main 2017 notification, it is expected that the application form will be out in the third week of December.
