Pakistan violates airspace agreement; comes within 300 metres of LoC in J&K
The Indian Army Officer Added That The Pakistani Military Helicopter Around 10 AM In The Morning Hovered Near The LoC For Sometime And Then Went Back.
A Pakistani military helicopter came within 300 metres of the Line of Control in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) near Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
A senior army officer familiar with the development said that the Pakistan violated the airspace agreement with the act.
The Indian Army officer added that the Pakistani military helicopter around 10 AM in the morning hovered near the LoC for sometime and then went back.
“There was no firing or hostile action by the helicopter. Indian troops posted in Poonch sector closely monitored the movement,” added the officer.
India and Pakistan have mutually agreed norms along the LoC, which bars choppers from coming within one kilometer and fixed wing aircrafts are not allowed to come with the 10 Kms of the of the de facto border.
