PM Modi's 'New India' vision on I-Day: 'Youth turning 18 next year are 'Bhagya Vidhatas' of nation'
Modi Said The Concept Of ‘New India’ Is Not Limited To Only Votes As It Is The Strength Of Democracy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the nation on 71st Independence Day and shared his vision about ‘New India’. PM Modi said in changing times, people will not govern by the system but the system will govern by the people.
Modi said the concept of ‘New India’ is not limited to only votes as it is the strength of democracy. He said, “We have to take the country ahead with the determination of creating a 'New India'.”
The Prime minister termed the youth, who are attaining 18 years on January 1-2018, as ‘Bhagya Vidhatas’ of the nation.
“1st January 2018 will not be an ordinary day- those born in this century will start turning 18. They are Bhagya Vidhatas of our nation,” he said.
Modi said everyone is equal as no one is big or small in the nation. He urged everyone to bring positive change in society and move forward while giving contribution in making of ‘New India’.
The Prime Minister said,” We need to make a nation that will free from corruption, terrorism and casteism.”
He said people must leave “Chalta hai” attitude and to adopt “Badal Sakta hai” attitude which would help in building the nation.
The Prime Minister said the nation has supported GST and the role of technology has also helped it.
“GST has shown the spirit of cooperative federalism. The nation has come together to support GST & the role of technology has also helped, “ he said.
Modi said rapid change in technology and demand has changed the ‘job of nature.’ He said it is an era of Information Technology and people should move forward towards digital transaction to maintain transparency.
