PM Modi vows fight against corruption, says ready to pay political price

While Speaking At The Inaugural Session Of Leading English Daily, Modi Said His Government Is Putting Effort To Establish A Development-oriented And Corruption Free Ecosystem In The Nation, So The Poor People Can Get The Benefit Of Government’s Schemes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said he is not afraid of political consequences over demonetisation and would continue his fight against corruption to bring improvement in lives of country’s poor and underprivileged.

While speaking at the inaugural session of leading English daily, Modi said his government is putting effort to establish a development-oriented and corruption free ecosystem in the nation, so the poor people can get the benefit of government’s schemes.

He said demonetisation and GST have scared corrupt people and these measures have brought black money into the economy.

The Prime minister also backed Aadhaar, saying that it would help in tracking Benami properties.
