Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Saturday chaired a high-level meeting over law and order situation in the state. The state is tensed after conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in a molestation case.
Amarinder said that there were no deaths reported from Punjab and everything was peaceful there. He added that there was no firing and lathicharge in the state.
"I will not allow violence of any form from any sect in Punjab," said Punjab CM.
"Fault was in allowing people to gather in Panchkula when the verdict was coming; should have known that there could be a problem," said Amarinder Singh.
