SP family feud: UP CM Akhilesh Yadav suspends uncle Shivpal Yadav, 3 others from cabinet
The Decision Was Taken During A Meeting At CM Residence Called By Akhilesh To Crease Out Turmoil Caused By Recent Rift Between Him And Samajwadi Party’s Top Leadership.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday suspended six cabinet ministers, including his uncle Shivpal Yadav from his cabinet. Others who were sacked from ministerial births included Shivpal Yadav, Gayatri Parajapati, Madan Chauhan, Shadab Fatima, Omprakash Singh and Narad Rai. The decision was taken during a meeting at CM residence called by Akhilesh to crease out turmoil caused by recent rift between him and Samajwadi Party’s top leadership. During the meeting, Akhilesh told his cabinet that it will be either him or Amar Singh in party, as two of them cannot co-exist in SP.

“CM said in the meeting that whoever is close to Amar Singh cannot be in my cabinet… Only one of us can be in SP, chose your side," Raju Yadav, Mainpuri MLA told media outside CM residence on Sunday.
Meanwhile, a separate meeting is being held at Mulayam Singh’s residence attended by top brass of SP, including Rewati Raman Singh, Naresh Agarwal and Mata Prasad Pandey.
