UP CM Yogi Adityanath scraps reservation in private medical colleges

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday scrapped reservation in private medical and dental colleges in the state.
The decision is being seen as to end corruption in the education sector.
An order has been passed in this regard stating to end quota in admission for OBC, SC and ST candidates in the private and dental colleges.
The Uttar Pradesh government had recently held a high-level meeting where the chief minister Adityanath had vowed to end corruption, and had asked the officials to bring transparency in the education realm.
The Uttar Pradesh government has taken various decisions for the state’s progress.
