Uttar Pradesh Police constable rapes 7-year-old girl in Greater Noida
“We Have Sent The Child To District Hospital In Noida For Medical Test. Reports Are Awaited,' Said A Senior Officer Of Surajpur Police Station, Greater Noida.
A Uttar Pradesh Police constable on Thursday was beaten by mob and handed over to state police for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl in Greater Noida.
The accused constable has been identified as Subash Singh.
“We have sent the child to district hospital in Noida for medical test. Reports are awaited,” said a senior officer of Surajpur police station, Greater Noida.
The officer added, “Singh is deployed at sales tax department in Gautam Budh Nagar.”
He added, “The constable on Wednesday evening forcibly took the minor to his room while she was playing outside her house and allegedly raped her.”
The officer further added, “Her neighbour came for her rescue when she cried for help.”

According to the victims neighbour, they had tried to apprehend him, but he attacked them. Later a group of people took him captive and thrashed him.
The Uttar Pradesh have lodged an FIR against Singh under POSCO act and IPC sections 376 and 342.
