West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is set to retain power for a consecutive second term, has thanked the people of state after landslide victory.
She said that Trinamool Congress scored comparatively well contesting alone. “We fought alone this time. Last elections, Trinamool had won 184 seats in alliance. This time, Opp was united against us” said the West Bengal the Chief Minister.

5. I want to thank EC as despite several problems, elections were conducted peacefully.
