The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the fixtures and venues for Australia's upcoming tour of India. The Indians shall commence with their home leg of the 2017-18 season with the five-match ODI series against Australia with the first ODI to be held in Chennai on September 17.
BCCI also shared the venues and dates for New Zealand's trip to India, which comprises of three ODIs and three T20Is. While the venues for the Australia series have been kept as the same as announced early in August, there have been some changes made for the New Zealand series.
Kanpur and Cuttack which were selected to host an ODI and a T20I against New Zealand, have been replaced by UPCA Stadium and Thiruvananthapuram respectively. Following the series opener in Chennai, India shall head to the eastern part of the country to play their next ODI in Kolkata on the 21st. The third ODI will take place in Indore, while the fourth ODI shall take place in Bangalore on the 28th.
The final ODI will be held in Nagpur on October 1st. The three T20Is will be held in Ranchi, Guwahati and Hyderabad respectively, with the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati hosting its first international game.
