The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) On Thursday Announced Former India Wicketkeeper Vijay Yadav’s Name As The Fielding Coach Of India A Team. Yadav Will Join The Team Which Is Scheduled To Tour South Africa.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced former India wicketkeeper Vijay Yadav’s name as the fielding coach of India A team. Yadav will join the team which is scheduled to tour South Africa.
Yadav played for Haryana in domestic tournaments. He himself confirmed about selection as a Indian A team’s fielding coach.
“Yes, it’s just couple of hours back that I was told about my appointment as the fielding coach of the India A team. The squad is leaving day after tomorrow (July 22nd) but I may have to join a couple of days late. I am now rushing to Mumbai and my paperwork and visa formalities will be completed there,” Yadav told.
Yadav played for India during 1992-93 season. During that period, he played 1 Test and 19 ODIs. He is known for his match-winning cameo of 34 at East London during his debut series in South Africa.
