Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has condemned the recent Bengaluru molestation case and has said that society needs to respect women.
In a twitter post, the all-rounder from Gujarat said that he was disgusted and ashamed after whatever happened on New Year Eve in Bengaluru. He insisted that our society needs to respect our women and men should stand for them.
The Bengaluru molestation incident has created a rage across the nations and everyone is brimming with opinions condemning it.
Pathan also stressed on the need of raising voice against such incidents. He said that people should come together and speak against such kind of happenings. He said that people should self-introspect themselves before commenting on women's attire. Childrens should be taught how to respect woman.
"People should respect women, at least they should respect humans, We should respect the pain which every woman goes through. Animals are better than humans, if we cannot respect women," Pathan said in a video posted on Twitter.

The New Year revelry turned into a nightmare for several women who were allegedly molested despite huge police presence at a large gathering on December 31 in Bengaluru's downtown region, sparking nationwide outrage.
Irfan Pathan has joined the league of several other celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Hrithik Roshan, Virat Kohli etc, who too had condemned the molestation incident.
