Ex-Pakistan players crave to work with PCB, even in toilets, says Tanvir Ahmed
Former Pakistan Pacer Tanvir Ahmed Feels That All The Former Pakistani Cricketers Would Like To Work With The Pakistan Board Even If They Get A Chance To Work In Toilets
Former Pakistan pacer Tanvir Ahmed feels that all the former Pakistani cricketers would like to work with the Pakistan Board even if they get a chance to work in toilets. He said, "It is my personal opinion what is wrong with that. I believe some of our former players are so desperate for employment opportunities in the board they would even work in the toilets’’. Tanvir has played five Tests, two ODIs and one Twenty20 International for his country between the year 2010 and 2013.
Later, he gained a lot of attention due to his controversial comments after he became a full-time cricket expert on television channels.
Recently, he was in headlines when he accused former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq and said he is a big supporter of nepotism and practice favourism in selection and ignored deserving candidate in order to promote his nephew, Imam-ul-Haq.
He said, "What legendary work has Inzamam done as chief selector tell me. I don't rate him as a legend’’. The video in which he questioned the former skipper Inzamam garnered huge number of views over the social media.
Last year, during the Asia Cup which was held in UAE, he faced a lot of wrath from the cricket fans worldwide when he said that Virat Kohli had run away from the tournament. However, Indian skipper was given rest and the tournament was eventually won by the Indian side.
Even, Tanvir admitted that his comments on Kohli garnered him a massive backlash over the internet that he had to close down his social media handles.
