Royal Challengers Bangalore explosive opener Chris Gayle became the first batsman in T20 cricket to annexe the herculean 10000 run mark.

He achieved the milestone when he reached three in his innings for RCB against Gujarat Lions in the 2017 IPL game on Tuesday.

The destructive West Indian batsman who has slayed the best of bowling attacks across the top flight T20 leagues has been one of the belligerent stroke makers over the 10 editions of the IPL.
