Kolkata Knight Riders’ Bowler Sunil Narine Has Been Reported Again For Suspected Illegal Action In The Ongoing Pakistan Super League, Where Narine Is Playing For Lahore Qalandars.
Kolkata Knight Riders’ superstar Sunil Narine has been reported again for suspected illegal action in the ongoing Pakistan Super League, where Narine is playing for Lahore Qalandars.
Indian franchise KKR will be sweating as Narine has been reported for suspected illegal action. KKR who are gearing up for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League could find their ace spinner suspended from the IPL 2018.
The West Indian’s action was reported on Wednesday when he was representing Lahore Qalandar against Quetta Qalandars in the ongoing PSL 2018.
However, he can still play in the PSL and IPL, which will start within three weeks but might face a ban if he is reported again for illegal action. Earlier, former Pakistan Captain Moin Khan, who is the mentor of Quetta Qalandars admitted that he has been surprised by the PSL authority for not taking any action on Narine, given the high standards set by PSL.
This is not the first time that Narine’s action has been reported. During the 2015 Indian Premier League, he was stopped from bowling by the technical committee and was suspended by the International Cricket Council in the same year.
As per ICC rules, a bowler can bend his elbow only till 15 degrees and ICC revealed in 2015 that all of Narine’s deliveries exceeded the 15 degrees extension allowed
