MS Dhoni, the mercurial India captain announced his resignation on Wednesday.

India's most successful captain won both the One Day and T20 World Cups for the country apart from taking the country to the No. 1 ranking in Tests.

In 2016, he also led the team to victory in Asia Cup and T20 series in Australia. Further, in the last T20 World Cup, he led a young team to the semifinals. Recently, a biopic was made on Dhoni which earned huge profits at the box office.
