Selectors pick up Manish Pandey and Shardul Thakur in place of injured Rahane and Shami for Mumbai Test

The team for fourth India vs England test has been announced. Karnataka's decent batsman Manish Pandey has been called up to the Indian Test team as a replacement for Ajinkya Rahane for the fourth Test to be played in Mumbai.

Rahane was hit on the thumb while practicing in the nets on Wednesday and that could be the reason for his ouster from the squad for the fourth Test.

Another player has been included in the team as a back-up for Mohammed Shami. Mumbai bowler Shardul Thakur comes in. Shami is doubtful for the 4th test to be played in Mumbai. Shami is suffering with a sore knee.
