Mithali Raj, skipper of the Indian Women’s cricket team on Wednesday said that throwing rock on Australian team bus in Guwahati was not in good taste because it is just a sport.
“People should be able to strictly see it likewise and not beyond that†said Raj.
Earlier on Tuesday, a stone was thrown at the Australian team bus when they were returning from the Barsapara Stadium to the team hotel in Guwahati after winning their second T20 match against India. Opener Aaron Finch tweeted out an image showing a broken window on the bus.
Two people have been taken in police custody in connection with stone-throwing incident on Australian cricket team.
