New Zealand defeated Bangladesh by four wickets in the third match of the Tri-Series in Clontarf, finishing on 258 for six from 47.3 overs.
The Black Caps bowled well to restrict Bangladesh to 257 for nine despite half-centuries by three of the Bangladeshi batsmen.
Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmuduallah all registered fifties but none could go on to score a big one. Soumya Sarkar ended up as the top scorer with 61. Kiwi seamer Hamish Bennett was the leading wicket-taker from the Black Caps, scalping 3 wickets for 31 runs in his 10 overs.
