Australian Fast Bowler Josh Hazlewood Believes That His Team’s Recent Tri-series Win Against India Will Give Them A Psychological Advantage Over The Defending Champions When They Take On Each Other In The Second World Cup Semifinal In Sydney On Thursday.
Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood believes that his team’s recent tri-series win against India will give them a psychological advantage over the defending champions when they take on each other in the second World Cup semifinal in Sydney on Thursday.
India had an arduous tour of Australia, where they failed to win a single match in the Test and subsequent one-day tri-series.
Hazlewood, who was recalled in the side for crunch quarterfinal clash against Pakistan, said that they have obviously played them ( India) a lot this summer in both formats, adding that they have the wood over them a little bit in that regard as they won the tri-series, Sport24 reported.
Hazlewood scalped four wickets for 35 in a six-wicket quarter-final win over Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval on Friday.
