India stormed into finals of Kabaddi World Cup 2016 with a brilliant performance in the semi final match against Thailand.
A top class performance from the host nation helped them to win the match with a huge margin of 73-20.
India, the stalwarts of Kabaddi left little room for error as Pardeep Narwal, Ajay Thakur and Nitin Tomar played a remarkable game along with notching up huge points. Whereas Narwal scored 11 points, Thakur gave him good company with 7 points.
The whole match was dominated by India and the defending champions went 18 straight points without conceding in the second half.
In the other semi-final Iran defeated Korea by a small margin of 28-22.
India, which has lost only one match in the World Cup thus far to South Korea, remain a firm favorite to pick the coveted trophy once again.
