She was born in Manipur to a family who are completely engrossed in sports.Here are some of the interesting facts you should know about her Bombayla:#She started archery in 1996 and became the member of the Indian team a decade after in 2006.# She received wide recognition after she won gold at the recurve team event at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.#Bombayla’s mother was also an archer and teaches archery while her father was the state coach for Manipur’s handball.# This is the third time she is representing India at the Olympics, the first being in Beijing, the second in London and now at the Rio Olympics 2016.# Bombayla has won several medals that include four gold medals, five silver medals and four bronze medals at the Archery World Cup at its various stages since making her debut for India in 2007.
