India’s Ajay Jayaram and Anand Pawar registered straight game wins to progress to the second round of the men’s singles qualifying round of the prestigious All England Championship badminton tournament, today.
While Jayaram beat Chinese Taipei’s Tzu Wei Wang 21-13 21-14 in 32 minutes, Pawar took exactly the same time to get the better of American Sattawat Pongnairat 21-17 21-11 in his first round encounter.
