Ace pistol shooter Jitu Rai continued his good shooting form as he clinched Gold in the 50-metre event at the ongoing ISSF Shooting World Cup being held in New Delhi.
It was a double bonanza for Indian fans as another Indian shooter Amanpreet Singh bagged the silver medal in the same event.Rai shot a world record score of 230.1 to bag the numero uno spot. India’s Amanpreet Singh had to settle for silver with a score of 226.9.
The army marksman Jitu Rai has been in tremendous form all through the event as he had won a bronze in the 10 metre Air Pistol event and earned a podium place with Heena Sidhu in the mixed team event. Â
