Serbian Tennis Star Ana Ivanovic who ruled the Tennis court as the number one for 12 weeks has retired at the age of 29. She posted an emotional letter on Twitter addressing her fans about her tough decision of retirement and thanking them for unconditional support.
The 29-year-old had a rough 2016 season, winning only 15 matches all year. Her dismal performance saw her slip to 63rd in the WTA rankings. She reached the French Open semi-final in 2015 and was runner-up at Roland Garros in 2007 and at the 2008 Australian Open.
