A report has revealed that a new iMac with Retina display is in "late" testing in Cupertino and Apple may be nearly ready to show its latest desktop to the world.
Until now, Apple's OS X Yosemite could be showcased to its potential only on the company's laptops but the trend looks set to change, reported The Verge.
The new iMac is expected to feature a "5K" sharp display. Although the exact resolution is not known yet the fact that OS X Yosemite contained references to screens with resolutions of 6400 x 3600, 5760 x 3240, and 4096 x 2304 indicated that one of the three could be the winner.
Apple OS X Yosemite is expected to be launched sometime in October.
