Delhi Police chief BS Bassi on Friday launched a trial version of the much awaited mobile app
“Delhi Police… One Touch Away” an mobile application from Delhi Police was launched on Friday by Commissioner BS Bassi. The is aimed at reducing public inconvenience and dissatisfaction with police functioning.
“Our endeavour has been to identify areas where newer means can help in reducing public inconvenience and consequent dissatisfaction with police functioning. One such area for the public is how to reach police in various situations,” Bassi was quoted saying in a report.
The mobile app — currently available only for android users — is supposed to act as an umbrella to all the previous Delhi police mobile applications, websites and services.
